Writing Inspiration

I teach business writing, but I’m also a creative writer.

Below are links to some of the best resources I know for the writer (business or creative) who needs inspiration and direction.

If you have writing aspirations, don’t cut corners on learning your craft. Recently, I met a delightful book publicist. She mentioned that people often say, “I’d write a book if I had the time.” But no one ever says, “I’d do brain surgery if I had the time.”ll

Because writing, at a basic level, is not brain surgery, it can appear deceptively simple. But people who make a living doing it have spent an inordinate amount of time learning and honing the craft. There is both an art and a science to it.
